Goldschmidt: acquisitions part of "ambitious" CSM growth plan

Sophie Goldschmidt, the new Group Managing Director at CSM Sport & Entertainment, told the SB Weekly podcast this week that the global sports agency conglomerate is looking to acquire businesses as part of its growth plan.

In February this year CSM bought North Carolina-based live event activation agency JHE Production. Goldschmidt, who joined CSM in March from the English RFU, said more could follow soon.

"Providence [owner of Chime, CSM’s parent company] are very ambitious with their plans and how they want to see us grow, which is incredibly exciting," she said during her interview, released today. "Our growth will be done both through organic routes and acquisition...we just want to ensure it's done in the right way and the brand and cultural fit is key."
